Case 1.–A 20-year-old man sustained a bullet wound of the left orbit through the left lower lid 1½ years previously. An inferonasal chorioretinal scar was produced (Fig 1). Visual acuity was 20/20.
Case 2.–A 22-year-old woman sustained a bullet wound of the right orbit through the lower lid one year previously. After resolution of a large vitreous hemorrhage, an inferonasal chorioretinal lesion was found along with a large fluffy white gliotic reaction (Fig 2). In addition, there was an indirect injury, presenting as an irregular depigmentation of the papillomacular region with a resultant loss of visual acuity to 20/20 (Fig 3).
Case 3.–A 25-year-old woman sustained a bullet wound of the right orbit through the upper lid seven years previously. This resulted in a large gliotic reaction involving the disc and macula (Fig 4) as well as much of the superior posterior pole region (Fig 5 and 6). Visual
