This is the second edition of this excellent manual that, in a few pages, discusses in a concise way the taking of a history, the testing for visual acuity, the examination of the external ocular structures, the tests for strabismus, and the methods and results of a fundus examination.
The book is profusely illustrated with black-and-white sketches and contains one color plate on fundus changes. The inside covers reproduce the distance and near vision charts.
This book is superbly suited for the student who first enters the ophthalmology service. It is reasonably priced and should be available in every medical school.
