Abstract

In Reply.  —We would like to thank Dr Teichmann for pointing out yet another mechanism by which elements of the anterior chamber of the eye can sustain thermal injury during photocoagulation therapy of the posterior pole via the Rodenstock Panfunduscopic lens. Despite such limitations, we nevertheless consider this lens to be a great asset in the retinal treatment of many patients.
