Abstract

This book summarizes the proceedings of the Third International Symposium on Immunology and Immunopathology of the Eye. The symposium was held at the Battell Institute, Seattle, Oct 25 to 27, 1982, immediately before the opening of the 24th International Congress of Ophthalmology in San Francisco. The volume is composed of 73 "chapters" and lists 77 senior contributors. The names are essentially an international "Who's Who" in ocular immunology. The individual papers are generally three to four pages long, including figures, charts, or graphs in most, and are followed by brief bibliographies generally ranging from five to 15 citations.
