Affiliation Agreement Announced.
—Charles J. Campbell, MD, on behalf of the Presbyterian Hospital in the City of New York and Columbia University, and Frederick A. Jakobiec, MD, on behalf of the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, have announced the signing of official affiliations on Jan 29, 1987, by the officers and trustees of the three participating institutions. The affiliations are intended to improve and strengthen residency education, fellowship training, medical student teaching, and research. The institutions will each maintain their own separate residency programs but will employ their combined resources for future recruitment of staff and for giving greater depth in educational opportunity.
