To the Editor.
—We read with interest and surprise the article by Hu et al1 entitled "Implantation of Posterior Chamber Lens in the Absence of Capsular and Zonular Support." We are pleased that someone else has used our technique,2 or one similar to it, adding to our own experience with this type of surgery.Unfortunately the authors have forgotten to include our article in their reference list, nor have they cited alternative reports of techniques used by Drews,3 Simcoe,4 Kaz Soong et al,5 Hall and Muenzler,6 and Koch.7Our techniques were published in International Ophthalmology Clinics2; they were also presented at the movie sessions of the First International Congress in Rome and at the Welsh Cataract Congress in Houston in 1986. A report has also been accepted and will be included in a forthcoming book by Ahrensen, and has been presented at
