Lin Brister, MD, Named Lions Club of Oklahoma Humanitarian of the Year.
—Lin Brister, MD, Tulsa, has been named Lions Club of Oklahoma humanitarian of the year for his service to the Lions Eye Bank and as a medical missionary. The award was presented at the Lions' annual state convention in Edmond, Okla, on May 16, 1992. The only other honoree was the late Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart Stores, who was presented the award last year for his philanthropic activities.
