In the Editorial entitled "Advising Patients About Age-Related Macular Degeneration" published in the September issue of the Archives (1993;111:1186-1188), the second sentence in the third paragraph on the right-hand side of page 1187 should have read as follows: Occasionally, patients with pigment epithelial detachments may show some hyperfluorescence on ICG angiography not visualized with fluorescein.
