In reply I stand corrected in regard to the shift in astigmatism that Busin has brought to my attention. The dramatic shift occurs from the 1-week to 1-month period and not from the preoperative to the 1-month postoperative period. I also thank Busin for his kind comments. All of this points out the strength of our peer-reviewed literature in being able to address such issues and both support true advances and correct misperceptions in a recognized format.
