We enjoyed the article by Grossniklaus et al1 about intraocular melanoma, which appeared in the September 1996 issue of the Archives. However, we think they meant to state that "metastases are less likely to arise from iris than from the ciliary body—choroidal melanomas," as noted in the third sentence of the first paragraph.
