Error in Table and Text. In the Epidemiology article titled “Prevalence of Open-Angle Glaucoma Among Adults in the United States” by Friedman et al, published in the April 2004 issue of the Archives (2004;122[4]:532-538), Table 3 has an incorrect value. The prevalence per 100 population for black women aged 40 to 49 years should be 1.51, not 15.1. In the “Comment” section, page 537, first paragraph, the statement in parentheses should read, “a prevalence of 4.5% as opposed to our estimate of 3.4%,” not, “a prevalence of 4.9% as opposed to our estimate of 3.4%.”
