In the Original Investigation titled “Effect of Oral Valproic Acid vs Placebo for Vision Loss in Patients With Autosomal Dominant Retinitis Pigmentosa: a Randomized Phase 2 Multicenter Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial,” published online in JAMA Ophthalmology on June 7, 2018,1 disclosures of 4 authors were not complete, and disclosures of other authors were not included in the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors Form for Disclosure of Potential Conflicts of Interest. Also, the affiliation and corresponding author address for Peter J. Francis, MD, PhD, was published as Foundation Fighting Blindness, but it should have been Pacific Ophthalmology Consulting. Last, the article stated that the funder had no role but should have indicated that Foundation Fighting Blindness did have a role. This article was corrected online.
