Correction for Discussion Section

JAMA Ophthalmol. 2018;136(12):1432. doi:10.1001/jamaophthalmol.2018.5518

In the Original Investigation titled “Association Between Ophthalmologist Age and Unsolicited Patient Complaints,” published in the January 2018 issue of JAMA Ophthalmology,1 there was an error in the Discussion section. It erroneously read, “Practicing outside an academic medical center was associated with a shorter time to first complaint….” The sentence should read, “Practicing outside an academic medical center was associated with a longer time to first complaint…” as supported by the data analysis and the facts presented in the tables and Results section. This article was corrected online.
