The computed tomographic scans revealed a high right jugular bulb with a dehiscence that included and extended lateral to the tympanic membrane annulus (Figure 1 and Figure 2). This dehiscence was seen on multiple, sequential sections. The jugular bulb was entered during elevation of a posterior endaural flap owing to the lack of bony floor lateral to the annulus in the medial portion of the external auditory canal.
