The nasolabial cyst, which was first described by Zuckerkandl in 1882, is a rare nonodontogenic lesion that occurs in the nasoalar region of the face.1 It has been described as being a developmental disorder of the inferior portion of the nasolacrimal duct.2 Alternatively, it has also been suggested that the nasolabial cyst is an epithelial inclusion that is formed during the fusion of globular, lateral nasal, and maxillary processes.1
