Objective: To assess the role of positron emission tomography and computed tomography (PET-CT) fusion imaging in management of recurrent head and neck squamous cancer in India.
Design: Retrospective cohort study of 1 year.
Setting: Specialized referral center.
Patients: Eighty previously treated patients with head and neck squamous cancer underwent 85 whole-body PET-CT fusion scans during follow-up for recurrent disease that was clinically considered salvageable.
