To the Editor:—On Feb. 10, 1922, I had the opportunity of operating, by a new method, on a young girl for an idiopathic perforation of the nasal septum. The following month, this patient was presented before the Montreal Medical Society, cured. I then wrote a paper giving my procedure, comparing it to the other methods, and the result I had obtained in this case, and sent it to Le Congrès de la Société Fracçaise d' oto-rhino-larynologie, Paris, in July, 1922. Later on, this work was published in full in French and English, in six different medical revues and transactions of societies. Nearly all were printed during the first half of the year 1923.
