Abstract

This is a work of 196 pages, including a complete bibliography with an authors' and subject index. "This contribution is primarily a study of twenty-five personally observed cases of cavernous sinus thrombophlebitis with twenty-one deaths (twelve necropsy reports) and four recoveries, three of which were verified with necropsy findings." The volume contains a contribution of first-rate importance as regards the diagnosis of this condition but especially as to its surgical treatment.
