A testimonial dinner was tendered to Dr. James F. McKernon by the Faculty Association of the New York Post-Graduate Medical School and Hospital on Jan. 9, 1929. Dr. McKernon has retired as president of the hospital, after giving many years of service to the institution, but is retaining membership on the board of directors. Among the speakers at the dinner were: Dr. J. M. T. Finney of Johns Hopkins University Medical School; Dr. Livingston Farrand, president of Cornell University, and Dr. Edward H. Hume and Dr. Arthur F. Chace of the New York Post-Graduate Hospital.
