Abstract

The feature of the elevator is the approximately right-angled bend in the blade. This allows the operator to remove the mucoperiosteum from the anterior wall of the sinus with greater ease and certainty. It also allows him to reach easily into the alveolar depressions in the sinus.

Instrument used in operation on antrum.
