Abstract

One of the most striking facts that I have noted in looking over the literature from Oct. 1, 1928, to September, 1929, is that so few articles on functional testing of hearing have appeared in the European journals. It has been my usual experience to find that most papers relating to this subject have for a good many years appeared especially in the German journals. This last year they have been absent so far as I have been able to determine. I have found one article in French dealing with the audiometer of the type most used in America, and all the other papers were those which appeared in England and in this country, particularly the latter.
