The American Laryngological Association now has available a sufficient sum of money to be granted as a prize for a thesis dealing with original investigation and research in laryngology or rhinology. Theses or reports of work must be in the hands of the secretary before March 1, 1942.

NORTH DAKOTA ACADEMY OF OPHTHALMOLOGY AND OTO-LARYNGOLOGY
At the meeting of the North Dakota Academy of Ophthalmology and Oto-laryngology in Fargo, November 29, Dr. A. E. Spear, of Dickinson, N. D., was elected president. Dr. Henry P. Wagener, of Rochester, Minn., presented an illustrated address on cardiovascular changes in the retina.
