The Chengtu Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Society, Chengtu, Szechwan, China, celebrated its tenth anniversary on Dec. 20, 1947. Dr. T. H. Lan, professor of biochemistry, West China Union University, was the guest speaker and addressed the society on the biochemistry of the blood of patients suffering from malignant tumors. Dr. K. C. Lang and Dr. E. Chan reviewed the history and the progress of the society during the past decade.
The Transactions of the American Otological Association, Inc. (1947, vol. XXXV) are in the hands of the printer and will be ready for distribution (at $6.00 a copy) in the near future.
