Awards Given at A. M. A. Meeting.—An exhibit entitled "Ear Surgery in 3-D: Tympanoplasty, Stapes and Fenestration," by Drs. J. Brown Farrior and Robert L. Levine, of Tampa, Fla., received the Billings gold medal award for excellence of correlating facts and presentation at the Annual Meeting of the American Medical Association, at Atlantic City, N. J.
The exhibit consists of a series of color slides to demonstrate the correct operation for a specific pathology as determined by surgery.
The exhibit was rebuilt after it was partially destroyed by a fire while being shown at the annual session of the American Academy of Opthalmology and Otolaryngology at the Palmer House in Chicago in October, 1958.
