This is a collection of papers that the author has written throughout his professional career. The book is in two sections; the first deals with ophthalmology and the second with otorhinolaryngology. There is a series of 43 articles written between 1917 and 1954. The subjects cover a wide range of unusual and interesting subjects.
As a memoir, the book represents a lifetime record of an observant and critical physician and teacher. It also indicates the progress in both fields in a span of close to 40 years of one man's experience.
