This supplement represents the scientific proceedings of the International Vestibular Symposium, 1963, in Memory of Robert Barany, sponsored by the University of Uppsala and its Faculty of Medicine. The basic sciences, anatomy, and vestibular physiology made up the first day's program. During the second day, several papers on "Present Problems in Meniere's Disease" were presented encompassing the diagnosis, vestibular and audiometric tests, medical and surgical treatment weighing heavily on ultrasound techniques, biophysics, animal experiments, relating biochemistry and results.
Although it is now almost two years after the symposium, the material here presented remains valuable reading.
