In addition to sections on anatomy and an excellent guide to patient positioning, there are chapters with detailed descriptions and illustrations on six conventional basic projections: the Schuller, Owen's, Stenvers, Mayer, Chamberlain-Towne, and Submentovertical. Chapters on pathologic alterations of roentgen anatomy and direct roentgenographic enlargement round out the atlas.
Doctor Etter is professor of radiology at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, the Falk Clinic School of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, and consultant at C. Howard Marcy State Hospital in Pittsburgh. His book is well recommended.
