To the Editor: I was surprised at the article by Crowley and Kaufman on the Rinne tuning fork tests. This article appeared in the October issue of the Archives, as you know. I cannot imagine why they did the Rinne test the way they described it. It's just 100% wrong and I am sure if they said they did tuning fork tests like this when they took their boards they would have been flunked, or at least given a pretty bad mark. The whole paper seemed to me to be full of errors and I do not think these ought to be allowed to get by without some protest. I hope you agree.
