This text is primarily written for the undergraduate student of audiology having a basic purpose to present elementary audiology—pure tone and speech audiometry. It also presents some historical backgrounds and some general material on advanced pure tone audiometry, hearing aid evaluation, GSR audiometry, automatic audiometry, industrial audiometry, testing for functional hearing loss, and the testing of children.
This text will find its way into reference lists for the resident in otolaryngology but a limited budget for his permanent library will preclude its purchase.
