The papers presented at the International Workshop on Cancer of the Head and Neck, New York City, May 1965 make up this book edited by John J. Conley. It has attempted to gather together an outstanding group of specialists who devote their entire life to problems of head and neck cancer, and the selection of speakers has been balanced to present a composite compendium of all the methods and techniques of management of cancer in the region of the head and neck.

A list of the sections covered include general aspects; reconstructive surgery; neck; nasopharynx, paranasal sinuses and ear; oral cavity, palate, tonsil and oropharynx; hypopharynx, postcricoid and postcervical esophagus; larynx and supralarynx; thyroid; malignant tumors in children; paragangliomas and lymphomas; salivary glands; radiation therapy; and chemotherapy.
