Postgraduate Course in Maxillofacial Injuries.—The University of Iowa is holding a postgraduate course in maxillofacial injuries May 13-18,1968. Limited to 14 otolaryngologists, preferably those in academic practice, the course will deal with immediate and delayed treatment to the soft tissues and underlying skeletal structures of the face and with associated dental problems. Lectures, demonstrations and ample laboratory practice will be given in methods of open and closed reduction, interdental fixation, suture techniques, and the utilization of skin flaps.
