Copy for this department must be in the hands of the Chief Editor at least three months, and preferably four months, prior to the event to permit physicians, who wish to attend, to make their plans.
Examinations.—The American Board of Otolaryngology will hold two examinations in 1969, one in Los Angeles at the SheratonWest Hotel, May 4 to 8, and one at the Palmer House, Chicago, Oct 17 to 21.
Congress.—The Society of the Oto-Rhino-Laryngology of the Union of Societies of Medical Sciences from Romania will hold its National Congress of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology in Bucharest from June 11 to 13, 1970.
The themes of the scientific program are: (1) reinterventions in the ORL surgery and (2) prophylactic, medical, and surgical treatment of chronic ear suppurations and their sequella (round table).
