Fritz Zollner has been known by the otolaryngologic public for 30 years through his numerous articles, his interest in Eustachian tube function, and his contributions in middle ear surgery. He has written this little volume on otolaryngology. It is termed a compendium for students and physicians. And that is what this handsomely edited and well-illustrated soft-bound, pocket-sized volume really represents. We may add that it is the general practitioner—in addition to the medical student—who can gain useful information from the book if he can read German.
