Abstract

To the Editor.—The article by Drs. Lundmark and Acquarelli in the June issue of the Archives was most informative. A not uncommon cause of a supraclavicular mass not seen often in a VA population would be metastitic carcinoma of the breast. Another unusual cause, which may mimic a metastic carcinoma, easily ruled out prior to an exotic work-up and an embarrassing biopsy is a cervical rib.
