Arch Otolaryngol. 1972;95(3):240-242. doi:10.1001/archotol.1972.00770080382010
Abstract

In this retrospective study of 120 supraglottic carcinomas we found 47 patients suitable for conservation surgery. Thirty of these received primary irradiation. Only 14 (47%) survived for five years. The results for conservation surgery in similar tumors are 68% to 73%.
