Abstract

Three cases of basal cell adenoma of the parotid gland are presented. Their inclusion brings the total number of basal cell adenomas reported in the American literature to 16, 5 of the parotid gland and 11 of minor salivary glands.

One of the three current cases showed change to adenoid cystic carcinoma. This malignant progression has been recorded only once before.
