A malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the maxilla occurred in a 46-year-old man. Histologically, the lesion is characterized by a storiform fibrous stroma, foam cells, and bizarre histiocytes. The reported high recurrence rate and occasional metastasis require extensive surgical resection.
