Abstract

Though tracheopathia is not considered a common entity, almost certainly, there are many cases seen bronchoscopically that have not been reported. Two case reports, one found at autopsy and the other in a surgically resected specimen, and the addition of 26 cases found in the literature since 1969 are tabulated, bringing the total number of reported cases to 245. The value of the clinical and bronchoscopic data to the pathologist when a biopsy specimen is submitted is exemplified by the second case report.
