Gustatory Rhinorrhea Developing After Radical Parotidectomy—A New Syndrome?

Abstract

• We report a case in which a 76-year-old woman developed unilateral gustatory rhinorrhea on the operated side after a radical parotidectomy. This is believed to be a new and previously unreported phenomenon that is mechanistically similar to the Frye syndrome (gustatory sweating).
