In this one volume, Dr Conley has produced the encyclopedia and atlas of head and neck reconstructive surgery. His vast experience in head and neck oncologic surgery has produced a plethora of reconstructive techniques. There are 759 illustrations, with many excellent artist's diagrams that demonstrate these principles and techniques.

Chapters on general considerations, timing of reconstruction, and special and unusual flap adjustments are included. The other chapters discuss reconstructive techniques for individual areas, eg, orbit, sinuses, lips, ear, parotid, etc. Worthy of special mention is the chapter on nasal reconstruction written by Dr Eduard Schmid that shows truly excellent results in nasal reconstruction. Many of his unique techniques will be new to head and neck surgeons in this country. This chapter alone makes the book worthy of acquisition.
