This volume is not for the novitiate in electronystagmography. Dr Toglia has presented some of the most interesting electronystagmographs that he has encountered in more than ten years of clinical experience performing more than 10,000 electronystagmographs. Although the subject is well covered, the illustrations were small and somewhat difficult to read. The tracings are all made from a curvilinear dynograph recorder, and although this may not present any problems to the experienced, those familiar with rectilinear recordings may find the tracings difficult to interpret. The strongest point in this brief descriptive text are the extensive references.
