In Reply.—It is quite correct that I transposed the nomenclature of the β1- and β2-receptors. Beginning with the fourth paragraph, all of the references in the article to either β1- or β2-blockers were reversed, including the one mentioned in the Table. I know the difference between β1- and β2-receptors and feel that I am entirely responsible, regardless as to how the mix-up occurred. As to the additional recommendations by Drs Roy and Weeks, I believe that their comments are appropriate.
