Symposium.—The International Symposium on Immunobiology of Cancer and Allied Immune Dysfunctions will be sponsored by the International Society for Preventive Oncology and co-sponsored by the Danish Cancer Society. It is to be held Nov 4-7, 1985, at the Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen.
The program includes overview lectures, panels, poster sessions, scientific exhibits, round-table discussions, and grand rounds designed for critical appraisal of current data.
Discussions are to concentrate on actions to be taken and on the implementation of existing knowledge for effective control of the immune suppressed patient. Reports are to present progress in the multifactorial etiology of immune dysfunctions and the related development of malignant neoplasms in humans. Emphasis will be placed on diagnostic aspects, immunomodulation, and management of patients with immune deficiency and of individuals at high risk.
