You will find a new section, medical news, at the front of each issue of the Archives this year.
The primary objective of this new feature is to provide our readers with concise, accurate, and timely reports of important events and new advances in our specialty.
The mechanics involved in publishing the Archives require that we meet a content deadline that is six to eight weeks prior to the time that you receive each issue. That creates a challenge in terms of timeliness, as we will be reporting the events of the prior few months, not the last few days or weeks. On the other hand, we believe that medical news will be interesting and useful in that it will permit wide dissemination of new ideas that might otherwise be delayed for another six to 18 months.
We will try to provide you with an accurate summary of the most
