This book provides particularly enjoyable scientific reading. The articles are short and allow completion of one subject in the reader's mind before going on to address another related subject. Similarly, the articles are grouped in such a way that the reader not particularly familiar with this general area can be introduced to each subject in sufficient depth to understand subsequent sections of the book. The manuscript preparation and editing have been done in an exemplary fashion, so the materials are generally clear and concise.
It is not a book to be skimmed. In fact, one would have difficulty with habits of speed reading. Instead, the reader finds himself studying the materials because of the enjoyable learning experience. It is almost arranged in short-story form, with an interrelationship between the present article and the next to be read.
