In Reply.—In response to the letter by Dr Terr regarding the citation, two points should be noted: (1) The reference to Terr and Edgerton was meant to acknowledge that fusiform-shaped cells had been described by these authors. (2) The point of the paragraph in which the citation appears is that it is probably inappropriate to refer to these cells as fusiform cells, as Terr and Edgerton did. The citation should have been more precise but the meaning of the paragraph is quite clear.
