Abstract

New Officers.—The new officers for the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology Inc are as follows: president, Gerald B. Healy, MD, Boston; president-elect, Robin T. Cotton, MD, Cincinnati; secretary, Mark A. Richardson, MD, Seattle; treasurer, John Tucker, MD, Philadelphia; and editor-historian, Robert Ruben, MD, New York.

Symposium.—On Dec 2 to 4, 1987, the International Symposium on New Developments in Head and Neck Cancer will be offered in Amsterdam. The objective of this symposium is to acquaint the practicing specialist in this field with the new developments in his own specialty, as well as in adjoining sciences. New developments in histopathology, imaging techniques, reconstructive surgery, radiotherapy, laser applications, chemotherapy, chemoprevention, and tumor immunology will be reviewed.
