American Auditory Society Meeting Announced.—The 16th Annual Meeting of the American Auditory Society will be held in New Orleans, La, on September 24, 1989, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Continuing Medical Education Course.—The Office of Continuing Medical Education of the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, is offering a course entitled "Recent Trends in Clinical Electrophysiology: Intraoperative Monitoring," from September 14 through 16, 1989, at the Towsley Center, Ann Arbor, Mich. Sponsored by the Department of Otolaryngology of the University of Michigan, the course will provide a comprehensive overview of state-of-the-art clinical auditory electrophysiology in neurotologic and intraoperative applications.
