Neurosurgery/Otolaryngology: A Continuing Medical Education Course.—From November 30 through December 2, 1990, The Page and William Black Postgraduate School, The Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY, will offer a continuing medical education course entitled "Base of Skull Surgery: Neurosurgical and Otolaryngological Approaches." International Conference on Acoustic Neuromas.—The First International Conference on Acoustic Neuromas will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from August 25 through 29, 1991. The major topics will be the following: diagnosis, imaging, epidemiology, natural history, pathology, basic research, bilateral neuromas, stereotactic radiosurgery, timing of surgery, and the translabyrinthine, retrosigmoid, transtemporal, and transcochlear approaches.
