I read the article by Manning et al1 with much interest. I would like to ask several questions that would assist me and other clinicians in using their findings. First, how many of the patients had nasal polyps or an aspirin idiosyncrasy? Did any of the patients have perioperative complications from surgery? If polypectomies were performed, what was the recurrence rate during the follow-up period? Compared with the baseline, during the follow-up period were there differences in the number of physician visits, the number of antibiotictreated sinus infections, or the number of computed tomographic scans, if performed?
